Nothing saps creativity and curiosity faster than random useless information. In the information age we are in, content is king. As such, everyone is spewing out content at a mind numbing rate. Most creatives stay away from rummaging through social sites and mainstream media. They don’t need content or information, they need inspiration, and you wont find it in the river of blase, same old content. Content may be the marketer’s goal to keep up with the crowd.
